I wrote this book for everyone who feels unseen in their pain. I wrote this for those of us who grew up with Disney and Ghibli and felt as if we, too, were made for another world. I wrote this for anyone who loves the thrill of danger among courts, and tension-filled romance balanced on the blade of a sword. That said, this is an adult book for content reasons and difficult topics such as abuse, the perils of obsession, and more (trigger warnings to come).

I describe this book as a sensual one, not a sexual one. It deals heavily with topics such as lust, obsession, and different forms of attraction. The type of romance you’ll find is a very “who is the ship?!” and “will they / won’t they?” type of tension. There’s a touch of heat, but as with all my writing, I focus much more on the emotional and sensory manifestation of feelings rather than detailed body part descriptions.
